Explains ShipStation's Scan to View feature, how to use it, and how to add scan to view barcodes to packing slips and order summaries.
Scan to View can help speed up your barcode scanning workflow.
A Scan to View barcode is the default barcode that appears as the last element of ShipStation's default packing slips. You can also add this barcode to your Order Summaries. Scan this barcode while in any tab of the ShipStation interface to open the Order Details screen for that order.
The Scan to View barcode works with both a standard barcode scanner and with ShipStation Mobile.
Turn the Scan to View barcode on or off for your default packing slips by following the steps below.
Find the row for Packing Slips and click Document Options.
Ensure the box to include Scan to View barcodes on packing slips is checked and click Save Changes.
ShipStation's Scan to View barcode will now appear on your default packing slips and any custom packing slips that use the [Barcode] field replacement.
