Weebly

How to add a Weebly store to ShipStation, what features are available, other need-to-know details, and troubleshooting tips.

Create and manage your website and online store with Weebly. Then add the ShipStation app to your Weebly account via the Weebly App Center to start importing those orders to your ShipStation account. You can use it on the go with our iPhone, iPad, and Android apps, too!

Weebly Requirements

Connection Requirements:

  • An active website with Weebly that has access to the Weebly App Center.

If your Weebly account is set up as a "Square Online Store" you will not have access to the App Center and will be unable to connect ShipStation with your Weebly account. ShipStation cannot connect to any store set up as a Square Online Store, but you can still process orders by using a CSV import. See our Square Commerce article for information on importing Square Online Store orders using a CSV file.

Order Import Requirements:

  • Include a Ship To address.

Connect a Weebly store to ShipStation

Follow the steps below to connect your Weebly store to ShipStation:

  1. Login to your Weebly account here.

  2. Navigate to the App Center and search for the ShipStation app.

  3. Select the ShipStation app, click Add, and then Connect.

After you've completed the connection steps, your store will be connected to ShipStation. You'll be taken to the store's Settings page to adjust the store-specific settings like branding, notification preferences, and product handling.

Weebly Troubleshooting Tips

Here are some common issues experienced by users, potential causes, and available troubleshooting tips.

Issue

How to troubleshoot or resolve

Error: "No sites that support apps" when trying to install the ShipStation App in the Weebly App Center

This error will occur if you try to install any app in the Weebly App Center to a Weebly site that is set up as a Square Online Store. Weebly sites set up as a Square Online Store do not have access to the Weebly App Center, so the ShipStation app (or other third-party apps) cannot be activated.

ShipStation is not compatible with Weebly sites set up as a Square Online Store. You can still create shipping labels in ShipStation by creating manual orders or importing a CSV file, but you will need to update the order's shipment information in Weebly manually.
