How to create, edit, and assign product categories to group like products together.
Product Categories are used to organize your products and improve the quality of your reports. You are not required to use categories for your products, but you may find them useful for reporting purposes.
Once you have assigned categories to your products, you can then use the Categories filter to view and export products by category.
To create or edit your product categories, do the following:
Enter the name of the category and click the green check mark to save.
ShipStation will add the new category to the Product Categories list, or update the existing category with your change.
You can now assign the category to your product records.
