Display Options

How to access display settings to adjust how information is displayed, account time zone, date and time format, and units of weight and measurement.

ShipStation offers a number of ways to customize the interface so it's easier on the eyes and matches your expectations for how information should appear.

Users with the appropriate permissions can change which window auto-loads on login, enable advanced product types, change date and time formats, update units of measure, and many other options.

Access the Display Options

From there, you'll be able to select a tab to edit four categories of Display Options that will dictate how information will appear when you're logged into ShipStation: General Display Preferences, Orders, Products, or Time and Units

Date Format

  • Controls the time zone ShipStation uses when displaying time stamp information in the account.

Dimensions

  • Controls whether ShipStation will display measurements in inches or centimeters. This will convert existing dimensional values on orders or products to match. This setting will not affect how we obtain information, only how we display it.

  • Rounding during conversion may impact dimensions. We advise you to double-check your shipments if dimension settings change often.

Weight

  • Admin only, account-wide setting.

  • Controls whether ShipStation will display weights in US customary units (pounds and ounces) or in Metric units (grams). If a user changes this setting, ShipStation will convert the number automatically (ounces vs grams).

  • Rounding during conversion may impact weights. We advise you to double-check your shipments if weight settings change often.
