Display Options

How to access display settings to adjust how information is displayed, account time zone, date and time format, and units of weight and measurement.

ShipStation offers a number of ways to customize the interface so it's easier on the eyes and matches your expectations for how information should appear.

Users with the appropriate permissions can change which window auto-loads on login, enable advanced product types, change date and time formats, update units of measure, and many other options.

When Order Status Changes

  • User-specific setting.

  • If multiple users on the account are shipping orders simultaneously, this setting determines how ShipStation indicates status changes to other users. Thus another user won’t try to ship an order that another user has already shipped.

  • When a user ships an order, ShipStation will act based on one of these two available options:

    • Hide order from view will immediately remove that order from the grid view

    • Gray out the order so that other working users can see the order and understand that it has been shipped.  Order Details will be viewable with up-to-date information.

The orders grid shows 3 orders grayed out because they have been shipped by other users.
  • Orders will be hidden or grayed out if

    • A label has been printed

    • An order has been marked as shipped

    • An order has been canceled
